So I'm NOT going to blog about the fact that the U.S. lost it's AAA credit rating last Friday even though I want to. I've thought about it, and there's just no way I can make it the least bit interesting. Actually that's not the real reason, although it is a reason. I honestly don't feel like I know enough about how it all works to offer my opinion, so those of you who read this lucked out. BIG TIME. I can't promise you I'll spare you once school starts again.

So little kids do the best things ever right? Well my sisters are no exceptions. This morning when I went to wake up my eight year old sister Ruth Anne I noticed something quite odd. She was wearing ... shoes. I really wish I'd gotten a picture of this. But I still think it's funny. She was completely under the covers except for her shoes. She told me she was too excited to wait until today to wear them so she went ahead and slept in them (they're new). I asked her if she was going to sleep in them again tonight and she said no because she'd gotten them dirty today. If by some chance she does wear them again tonight I'll be sure and get a picture. 


And ladies in case you were wondering, leggings/tights are not pants. If you don't believe me you can continue to embarrass yourself. I just wish you'd spare us all.   

An update on how I'm handling the title thing: I wish titles didn't exist.
